Now that the confetti has settled, we wanted to say a huge thank you for making our Wedding weekend at Elmhay Park absolutely perfect.
Rachel, you were an absolute superstar from our very first meeting. We never felt like just another booking in a diary, your genuine care and support throughout the planning process meant so much, and on the day itself you made everything happen with such grace and seamlessness.
Chris and Heather, thank you both personally too. Your visibility throughout the weekend, from the bar on Friday to chatting with our guests on Saturday evening, made a real difference and showed we weren't just a "money moment" to you.
The estate is beautiful and the food, especially the Camembert and lamb, was incredible, but it's the personal touches that meant the most. From the brilliant start at The Peacock to the comfort of the cottages and the peaceful Sunday recovery we needed after all the happy tears, every moment was perfect.

We had the most incredible experience at Elmhay Park for our Wedding, and we can't recommend it enough!
The entire process was seamless, from our tour of the estate with Chris to the final details on the day itself, largely thanks to the amazing Annamarie, our Wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her support was invaluable from booking right through to the final dance.
The setting at Elmhay Park is absolutely gorgeous. We had the 3-day Wedding package, giving us the whole weekend to enjoy the venue, starting with a beautiful dinner at The Peacock Restaurant with our
Wedding party the night before.
On the day itself, everything ran smoothly, the staff were professional and attentive, the food was unbelievable, and the bar staff were fantastic. The following night in Church Lodge was the perfect way to wind down and reflect on the weekend.
Elmhay Park provided the most gorgeous, perfect setting and service for our special day, something nearly all of our guests mentioned too. A huge thank you to Annamarie for being incredible throughout. It was truly a Wedding weekend we'll never forget!

The venue offers everything in one big package, which is the one thing we wanted when looking for a venue !! The food was to die for, and their menu choices were extraordinary! The staff were amazing, one lady made sure she came to see myself and my groom to make sure we’d eaten some canapés at the drinks reception!
All these little touches made the day that extra little bit special! The cars were fantastic, and the helicopter ! That made it! They got all the guests outside waiting for us to arrive!
Our guests all loved being in the same place to stay the night of!

David and I got married at Elmhay Park and had the most incredible,
perfect day.
From our first tour with Heather to the final details, the team were welcoming, kind and professional throughout, and every dietary requirement was taken care of without issue.
The food was outstanding, from the Camembert starter to the roast beef and lamb mains, and our guests couldn't stop commenting on how delicious everything was.
Chris kindly drove us to and from our ceremony in his Rolls Royce,
a lovely personal touch from the owners.
The venue itself is stunning: the orangery for our reception, the Italian garden for drinks, and accommodation right on site meant our 70 guests could enjoy the whole day and night without a worry.
We also loved having golf included for the boys, and the Castle was the perfect place for the bridesmaids to get ready, complete with a hot tub and a relaxing pamper session the night before.
We finished our stay with a night in Church Lodge, gifted a hamper, and the perfect quiet spot to reflect on the best day of our lives.

We had our wedding at Elmhay Park on the Orchardleigh Estate on 21st June.
From the time of our very first speculative visit, to nearly forgetting our cake the day after and one of the staff coming to find us -
the venue could not have done more for us.
Firstly to a few staff. Heather, our incredible coordinator, made our day so stress-free and smooth that we could just enjoy ourselves. She also kept on top of our planning in the run up (prompting us when we needed it!).
Karl, who did our menu tasting and food, was incredibly supportive and flexible. We had a number of tricky dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble. Finally, to Abigail and the rest of the lovely waiting and bar staff - who (despite a very late night!) were so incredibly friendly and lovely to all our friends and family, it really made the day.
What a lot of wedding reviews won't tell you is all the tiny touches that really make you feel special - from the R & R in chocolate on our puddings, the 5 minute break after the ceremony we got to spend together with some champagne (and eating personal canapes!), the hamper for our lodge the next morning, to being followed round with a personal prosecco pourer (thank you!),
Elmhay really go out of their way to make sure that the couple have EVERYTHING they could need.

The most incredible team we couldn’t have asked for more
We honestly don’t know where to begin when it comes to thanking Annamarie and the Elmhay Park team for everything they did for us. From discovering the venue on an Open Day last year, we knew this space and vibe certainly made it the one for us!
From the very first meeting with Annamarie, we knew we were in good hands and she made the whole experience feel completely stress-free. She was knowledgeable, supportive and so incredibly attentive to every little detail. She went above and beyond for us in so many ways, always making sure that everything was exactly as we wanted it. We feel so lucky to have been appointed someone who cared so much about our day and who genuinely wanted it to be perfect for us. She made the whole experience feel effortless, personal and, most importantly, enjoyable.
What meant so much to us was the effort everyone made to make the day feel like our day. Nothing was ever out of the question… even when that meant installing a small pickleball court on the lawn! Those little details might seem insignificant to some, but to us they meant everything. It showed just how much the team cared about creating a day that reflected us as a couple.
Elmhay Park itself is simply beautiful and so thoughtfully designed for a wedding day. The way the venue naturally allows you to move from one space to another makes the whole day flow so effortlessly, with every area feeling like a natural part of the next. Having accommodation on site was also such a huge bonus for us. It meant we could completely relax, stay surrounded by our friends and family, and truly enjoy every moment without having to think about the practicalities or logistics.
The array of food we had was incredible - beautifully presented, absolutely delicious and complemented by impeccable service. Throughout the entire day, the team were so attentive, constantly checking in and making sure we were looked after without ever being intrusive. One of our favourite little touches was coming out of the ceremony to be greeted with a glass of fizz and a selection of canapés by the team. It was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture and made us feel so instantly cared for and celebrated. It’s those small, personal touches that really stay with you, and we are so grateful for how much thought went into making sure we were looked after from beginning to end. We never once felt like an afterthought; quite the opposite… we always felt like we were at the very heart of everything.
We also chose to have a cheese and pork pie tower to cut, and Annamarie kindly arranged for us to drop it off at Orchardleigh the day before, with the plan to have it assembled on the evening of the wedding. What we hadn’t expected was the extra thought she put into how it would be presented. When it came out, it had been beautifully finished with berries placed around it, giving it an extra wow-factor that looked incredible in person and in the photographs.
It was something she absolutely didn’t have to do, but it perfectly sums up the level of care and attention we experienced throughout. Annamarie’s experience, eye for detail and genuine consideration meant that she was constantly thinking of things we hadn’t even considered ourselves. Those little details elevated moments throughout the day and, looking back, are part of what made everything feel so special and personal. We know we will look back at our photographs and remember not just how beautiful everything looked, but the care that went into making it that way… and for that, we are incredibly grateful.
The breakfast the next morning was the perfect finishing touch. It was lovely, and we were honestly so impressed by how quickly the team had transformed everything from the night before and were ready to look after us all over again. It really showed the incredible level of organisation and care that goes on behind the scenes.
The hands-on help from the whole team during set-up was also something we will never forget. Everyone was so willing to get stuck in, with such positive and helpful energy. It made such a difference and gave us complete confidence that everything was going to come together exactly as it should.
But perhaps the biggest compliment we can give is that the Elmhay Park team stopped feeling like a supplier and genuinely felt like part of our family. They were there for us, they cared about us, and they cared about the day just as much as we did. They somehow managed to be incredibly professional and organised whilst also making everything feel warm, personal and relaxed… a balance that is incredibly difficult to get right.
Looking back, we feel incredibly lucky. Lucky to have found such a beautiful venue, lucky to have had such an amazing team around us, and lucky to have been able to enjoy our day knowing we were in the very best hands.
They didn't just help us create a wedding, they helped us create memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We will be forever grateful to everyone at Elmhay Park for making our day so incredibly special, and we truly couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you for giving us the most perfect and unforgettable day.
