Civil Ceremoines
Elmhay Park has four beautiful settings licensed for Civil Ceremonies.
The covered Italian Garden, with its olive trees and atmospheric lighting, welcomes up to 250 guests and is perfect all year round.
Within the Walled Garden, choose the Fountain for a striking open-air ceremony, the Bandstand for something more intimate beneath the trees,
or a long aisle with the Orangery as your backdrop.
Should the weather turn, we can usually move your Ceremony
just a couple of hours before you walk down the aisle.
Church Weddings
For a traditional Church Wedding, Elmhay Park offers a choice of three beautiful Churches close by.
St Mary’s, the Estate’s candlelit Island Church, is believed to be the only working Church in England on its own Island and welcomes up to 100 guests.
All Saints in Lullington, just 400 metres away, seats up to 150, while the Grade I listed St John’s in Frome accommodates up to 300.
After your Ceremony, return to Elmhay Park to Celebrate.

Our specialist caterers bring the flavours of home,
from jollof rice and jerk chicken to curry goat and plantain,
while the dancing carries on late into the evening.
Dry Hire Weddings
Take exclusive use of Elmhay Park and plan your Wedding entirely your way. Whether you are planning a classic British Wedding or a Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Punjabi or Afro-Caribbean celebration,
our dry hire gives you the freedom to bring your own caterers and drinks with no corkage charge.
With space for up to 300 dining or 500 standing guests, tables, chairs, crockery and glassware included, a full commercial kitchen and accommodation on site, every family and every tradition has room to shine.
Accommodation
Elmhay Village sits just a few paces behind the Orangery, with 12 beautifully restored cottages sleeping up to 70 guests on your Wedding night, including the Bell Tower bridal suite with its four-poster bed and Jacuzzi bath.
The Village is available with our Bumbelina One Day Wedding, our Eldon Three Day Wedding and our Asian and Afro-Caribbean Weddings.
Our Eldon package goes further, with the night before spent in Orchardleigh Castle, sleeping up to 12 with its own private hot tub, while your partner stays nearby in Lewis Lodge with up to seven guests.
The night after, Church Lodge offers a romantic retreat for the two of you, overlooking the rolling hills of the Estate with a hot tub for two.

Our fleet of Range Rovers is on hand to take you to the church or your guests on a tour of the Estate, and for a truly unforgettable entrance,
you can even arrive by our own Bell LongRanger helicopter.
